The client contacted us to request a quote to remove her garage roof. We went out to have a look at the garage and to give the client a quote. The garage was massive and FULL of bushes and ivy on top of the asbestos roof. There was also a layer of insulation, a layer of wood and several layers of tarpaulin. We discussed with the client what she was intending to do with the garage. The client wanted the full garage removing, including the several metal lockers, shelving, etc that were inside. We agreed a price and booked her in.
First we removed several panels off the roof. Then from the inside of the garage, we cut through all the bushes and ivy, that were growing from the property behind. After the full roof was removed and safely disposed of, we began to empty the garage. A scrap man came to collect all of the metal. We then began to remove the sectional concrete sides. We usually take the sides down one piece at a time, as a whole piece. However, this garage didn’t play ball and we had to smash a lot of the sides into pieces.
In just over two days, the whole garage was gone, leaving a nice empty space for the client.
