Environmental Skip Clean in Wales.

A potential client, at a domestic property, called early one morning. Her son had taken down a garden shed with an asbestos roof and put all of the waste into a skip. They weren’t aware that the roof was asbestos, so when the skip driver arrived to collect the skip, they refused to take it. They advised that because there was asbestos in the skip, it was now classed as hazardous waste. The whole skip would have to go to an asbestos tip. The client also asked if we could remove a small lean-to asbestos roof whilst we were there.

The client knew that we were quite far away from her (we are based in Bolton, Greater Manchester), but she had seen our reviews and really wanted us to complete the job. How could we say no?

We travelled down to Wales, filled a van with asbestos, shed waste, garden waste and lots of shrubbery. We came back to Bolton and tipped the hazardous waste in an asbestos tip. We travelled back to Wales, finished emptying the skip and cleaned it out. We then removed the lean-to roof. The client was happy that she could finally have the skip collected, as the company had threatened to charge her a daily rate until it was cleaned out.
